Practical Notes

  • The full overnight chill gives both the oats and chia seeds time to hydrate. Judge the consistency in the morning and add extra milk only then if you want it looser.
  • Tossing the peaches with lemon before layering keeps their flavor bright and creates distinct fruit pockets instead of blending all of the peach into the oat base.

The Straightforward Peach Breakfast Version

This version keeps the flavor profile centered on oats and peach without trying to mimic a dessert. It is the simpler choice when you want a basic make-ahead peach breakfast.

How to Store Leftovers

Keep Peach Overnight Oats refrigerated in a covered container and use them within 3 to 4 days. Add fresh peach or any crunchy topping just before serving.

Ways to Serve

  • Fresh peaches
  • Chopped nuts
  • A drizzle of honey
