Glaze the Salmon Briefly

The teriyaki sauce contains honey, so it can go from glossy to scorched quickly. Sear the salmon first and add only enough sauce to coat it during the final minute or two. Keep the remaining sauce for the rice and vegetables instead of continuing to cook the salmon in it.

How to Store Leftovers

Refrigerate salmon and rice within 2 hours for up to 3 days. Store broccoli, cucumber, avocado, sauce, and garnishes separately.

Freeze salmon and rice for up to 2 months; do not freeze cucumber or avocado.

How to Reheat

Warm salmon and rice gently until 165°F, adding a spoonful of water to the rice. Add cold vegetables and fresh sauce after heating.
